Hi, my name’s Marcella, and I’m a writer. I’m also a coffee lover, movie addict, Disney mania, and quotes junkie.
My journey as a writer began when I started this blog in 2010. As a naive, young media student, I feel the impulse to just write, and write even more.
Through these pages, I will pour down all my random thoughts and encounters on life – about my accomplisments and failures, about learning and making choices.
Currently, I’m a third year Bachelor of Arts student studying in the University of Melbourne, trying to survive my final year with a double major in Psychology and Media and Communication.
That said, I’m also a columnist / journalist at Meld Magazine, an online magazine for international students who are studying in Melbourne.
And all is done to tell others why life’s worth living. Because I truly believe in its beauty.
Randy Pausch once said, “I was trying to put myself in a bottle that would one day wash up on the beach for my children. If I were a painter, I would have painted for them. If I were a musician, I would have composed music. But I am a lecturer. So I lectured.”
Yet I am a writer. So I write.
I enjoyed my stay at your blog Marcella. I’m glad I came across your blog. I just finished viewing the post about the tragic car accident. What a shame and congratulations on making Freshly Pressed.
